Matt Mims, having been a part of building hive since June 2016, has finally joined the team full time! Although Matt has been a part of hiveonline so long, we are now thrilled to welcome him on board to start helping us build a better future for financial services.
As many may know, he comes to us with a background in banks. He has worked in several globally significant banks in a number of roles, across both strategy and execution. Alongside his financial career, Matt has been dedicating time to social enterprises and startups, and been advising FinTech startups since 2013.
“I’m so excited to be joining hiveonline at this point in its journey. Having worked on the initial concept on the MIT Future Commerce course, I strongly believe that we can help small businesses do what they do more effectively and remove the friction imposed by traditional blanking.” Says Matt. “We are at beginning of a financial revolution and having the chance to play a part in driving it with Sofie and the talented team at hiveonline is unbelievable.”
His achievements involving designing and deploying bank-wide business critical applications, managing multi-million pound strategic partnership negotiations and leading the integration of a core banking platform, mean that we can expect great things in the advancement of our company, our message and our team.
