Three Months In – Camilla, Community Manager

It’s been three months and I still feel like a newbie at the hiveonline! We are moving so fast. I joined hiveonline as a Community Manager and started building our relationship with Danish small businesses, trying to make their business more digital and helping them in their day to day.

I have had meetings with contractors discussing their working processes, values, time well spent, and the time spent on hopeless working processes. With the rest of the team I have fed the thoughts and needs of our users into our design and development process. We are now ready to test the app and I cannot wait! This is where we will truly learn and I am ecstatic.

Since I have joined the team I have been utterly impressed with the team members – new and old – as well as all the people willing to help us. We all have different qualities and I think we are an amazing team!

Changing the working life for SME’s and looking into the Sustainable Development Goals has changed my view of working. Being a journalist, I always look for the bigger picture – how to tell the story – find the value.

This time the story and the values have found me. I took some time to see it, but creating equal business opportunities for SME’s and bigger companies really makes sense (also in a more global perspective), giving people a fair chance to chase their dream to run their own business.

I can’t wait for the Hive to grow, creating a community and getting the app out there.
