Sofie had a busy four days at Money 2020 Europe 2018 in Amsterdam, meeting partners, speaking about Financial Inclusion and catching up with some old FinTech friends from around the world. Here’s what she got up to day by day…
Day 0 – Sunday 3rd
Sofie was invited to an exclusive networking event for speakers at Jetty Bar, Strand Zuid and we were able to meet some old FinTech friends
Day 1 – Monday 4th
- Got to enjoy the fabulous Money 2020 academy lunch party
- We had some meetings with future partners
- Two in depth press interviews with the FinTech Times and thenewspaces
- Finished the day with a wonderful Italian Dinner with board of Bergslagens Sparbank
Day 2 – Tuesday 5th
- More partner meetings
- Finally met Leanne Kemp, of Everledger, another woman leading a blockchain company
- Boat trip with a chance to meet birds of prey and some exciting new people
- Velocity Drinks and Bites at the Kanarie Club with Ka-Ming Lim from Limitless
Day 3 – Wednesday 6th
- Took a quick break to review the speech before jumping back into meeting partners and reuniting with Pascal Bouvier and our old friend Ewan MacLeod amongst others
- Gave her speech at the Arena Stage on Financial Inclusion in FinTech
- Headed back to Copenhagen after a fantastic four days
